"Freak the Mighty" by Rodman Philbrick

All of us have special kind of things affecting our lives very much like a book, a song, maybe a movie, maybe a paint, maybe a musical instrument and this list can differ for anyone in the world. For me, it was first just a movie, next it became a book, a thought, then it became a philosophy, and after that I got the thing behind the Rodman Philbrick tries to give me, it was just the life itself...
I met "Freak the Mighty" as a movie first, and funny, it was a coincidence to meet it, but I regret not knowing it before I met it. At the first glance, I thought that it is just a movie to fill my free time, and distract my boredom, but after I saw Kevin and his looking angle for the life woke me up for the things, people in my life, because after I saw his faith in life and his struggles which include that even if you are crippled and even if you know you will die soon, you can do amazing things, get a friend, be energetic, be joyful, be a knight, love the life... His struggles to communicate with Max, his science fair projects... Even if you see these scenes in the film, you may hate yourself and maybe judge your own life a little bit.
In the film, Kevin tries to communicate with Max, because he is different from anyone like himself, he thinks Max is much more closer to him than anyone else in the world, he knows that he needs Max. This should be the case in life, but of course this is not the case, since people around you like to see you as a cheap person to abandon any time, let you down... Since it is easier to do earlier things when you are cheap, no one likes you to be different.
However, I think people should be different, struggle to find people they can get along easily, not behave improperly for different ones, behave like themselves. They should know that they miss something about different ones' lives, which is their looking angles for the life. That's why my messages are: be energetic!, be joyful!, do something nice!, be nice to other people! (I dont say be nice to everyone, because if you don't like someone else, you may choose not to talk to him/her, it is your choice), never give up believing in life!. Because no matter what, life is still nice to live and I'm sure that your Max is somewhere out there...

"The Script" and "#3"

"#3" will be the third studio album of the amazing band called "The Script", it is very exciting, because "The Script" is the band which has changed my musical taste and simply I love their music style, and I think they are very different from any other rock bands.
I met "The Script" in 2008, and it was ridiculously a chance to hear their song "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" from a radio channel on TV, which was RTL 102.5, an Italien music station, playing awesome video clips and songs and I think this music station examines video clips very carefully before they will be played on this channel (because you cannot find any trash kind of music there). After I listened to the song, I searched the Internet to listen to their other songs and I really enjoyed when listening to "Breakeven","Before the Worst" and "Talk You Down". The first thing I did in the next day was buying their album "The Script", and even today I can feel the same taste when I listen to it as if I listened "For the First Time":)
Although I may not say the same beautiful words for their second album "Science&Faith" (It is totally my idea), it also includes some beautiful songs like "For the First Time", "Dead Man Walking" and "Long Gone and Moved On".
I hope with their third album, I can start to feel the same musical taste again as I felt in their first album, with their opening track "Hall of Fame" my hope is increasing actually.
I love "The Script", their songs, personalities of the band members, and I hope they will follow the same quality line for so many years that each upcoming album will make us feel excited every time...
Take care everyone!!!

Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso and the Rest... (2)

Where were we left? Yes, we were talking about F1 World, especially two legendary names: Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alonso. In my former writing I have talked about M.Schumacher, his personality, how he affected my life etc. That's why this writing is especially dedicated for Fernando Alonso.
I think the year was 2003 or 2004 which Fernando Alonso won his first race in Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, and many people were not aware of that a new legendary name was coming to the F1 World. In next year, with the help of Renault F1 Team, Fernando broke M.Schumacher's domination and brought a new fresh air to the F1 World, people was applausing this new, young man's success and they knew that this was not just a chance, this was a big accomplishment and they had to respect to that. Also, Alonso showed same achivement in 2006 season, and they proved that he is a great pilot and he has a great personality (Showing gentleman behaviours to their rivals in races or outside of races). (You know that 2006 was the year that M.Schumacher retired, maybe he lost his challenging and competitive soul because of Fernando Alonso :) Of course, this is just a joke, sometimes it was time to quit and you knew that, and you quit, like Pete Sampras (In the following years M.Schumacher made my point more clear (!) by returning F1.)) The following years, unlike many opponent ideas, I think that they were great years for Fernando Alonso too, because he learnt how people disappoint you and protect its own country pilot (the case of Mclaren-Lewis Hamilton), and successs does not give you more success, sometimes you have to go upside down to recover yourself again, and Fernando Alonso saw these things, recovered himself again and today, we see his competitive, challenging personality and to be honest it makes us happy :) More importantly, seeing this men gives regular people strategies about how to make yourself more confident, how to make yourself more challenging, how to resist hardships, obstacles in real life, how to compete with someone by obeying moral rules as a gentleman, how to recover yourself again... Therefore, one question is left to be asked which is "Why do not we admire Fernando Alonso and his personality too?" This is enough for this week, see you next week with some different topic...

Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso and the Rest... (1)

The year was 1998, I was sitting on my grandma's couch and I think I was bored, the only thing makes me amuzed in my grandma's house was a TV. I turned the TV on and as if I had been programmed I turned the channel to the race, more specifically my first F1 grand prix, which was old Hockenheim Grand Prix at Germany, I don't know why, but I guess it was the beauty of the track that pulled me in to F1 world, maybe classical M.Schumacher-M.Hakkinen challange, maybe I was just bored:) However, after that day I have never missed a race, I have never stopped thinking about F1 world. In these 14 years I have seen many legendary races, crashes, tears of sadness and tears of joy, and I have always associated F1 world with my life, for example if you have asked child me what I would do in the future in those days, I would have answered that "I want to be like M.Schumacher!!!". That master affected me, my life, my personality... I don't want to be understood like power and success obssessed, because it is not the only thing that M.Schumacher has and affected me, There were many things such as: keeping cool in an unusual situation, never letting people down you, always being challenging, never giving up, always being honest and being a gentleman!!! These are the traits that take my life to a better level, and to be honest teach how to survive in wild. Some people may ask me that how can F1 and life be related? I want to say something to these people: Life does not mean you will learn everything in school, family or environment (work, social etc.), the things make life better are learned when you involve in something, do something, watch something, and practice these learned things, make mistakes, learn from these mistakes and the most important never do same mistakes again!!! These are the things when I have learned from F1, M.Schumacher. You don't have to look far when you want to change or fix something in your life, sometimes you can feel that it is your nearby...(When I was writing these passage, I felt that this writing is about life, not M.Schumacher or Fernando Alonso, so to keep up with the content I will write something directly related with M Schumacher and Fernando Alonso next week, c ya!!!)
