GTA San Andreas

Before I played GTA San Andreas, I had played GTA III and GTA Vice City and to be honest, I did not think that GTA San Andreas would be different from these games, but thanks to God I was wrong :) Although all these three games use the same game engine, playing GTA San Andreas was much more fun to me, because of some reasons. Firstly, map is huge! I have to admit that sometimes I got lost in the game and I had to follow some road signs to get to somewhere. There are countryside roads in the game which is designed so cleverly that although there is not a huge distance between cities, roads make this distance bigger. That's why, you feel that you play in a huge map. That's one of the illusions that GTA San Andreas gives you. Secondly, character customization is great in this game. In the earlier GTA games, all of you know that the only thing we can change about the character was their clothes. However, in the GTA San Andreas, you can experience how to dress, how to eat, how to bodybuild or how to take care of your girlfriend(s). In that way, you can customize your character or you can play the game multiple times with different characters you create. Finally, there are many different mission types in the game. Stealing a car, a helicopter or a police car is all common in all GTA games, but stealing secret military vehicles or trains was only possible in this game for the first time. That's why, using different types of vehicles result in different and more mission types. All of these properties make the GTA San Andreas my favourite GTA game. Although you may not like or you may be disappointed by the graphics, I have to remind you that graphics are not everything for a game, gameplay is much more important. Take care...

Don't Starve

"Don't starve" is a survival game which is created by Klei Entertainment. Graphics seem simple but well-designed so instead of graphics, gameplay is much more important in this game. Gameplay consists of crafting items which requires certain elements from the environment you live. For example, you have to pick grasses and collect woods from the trees to set up a campfire, or you have to collect stones, flints and twigs to make tools such as axes, pickaxes or shovels. However, apart from these, maybe the most important thing you should do is not to starve, because if you start to starve, your health gets lower very quickly and you may die in a few seconds.

Besides single player, another version of the game "Don't Starve Together" allows you to play with your friends online or LAN. Although, Don't Starve Together currently in beta phase, it is updated almost every day, so you do not have to worry about game crash, bugs or anything which I have never experienced.
To sum up, Don't Starve with its multiplayer version Don't Starve Together is a unique game for its genre and it has to be in your game library for sure :) Thnx for reading...

Sequoia Trees

Sequoia Trees are the tallest trees in the world (Maybe they are the tallest living organisms in the world, but I'm not sure about that). They can grow up to 87 m and their width can reach 34 m. It is estimated that the world's oldest sequoia trees are 1800-2700 years old. That's why, each of them should be considered as one of the world wonders individually. Thanks to the recent precautions, these trees are protected in national parks in the west coast of the USA. These giant trees' name is originated from a famous Cherokee Indian - Sequoyah although some people claim this is not the case. In the Cherokee language, Sequoia means Giant Redwood Tree which clearly shows the origin of the name of these trees.
It may seem awkward to love trees for someone who lives in urban areas, but in these days, we actually should love every creature much more than we have loved before, because if we do not, we will hand down our children a corrupted nature which the life will not be present, so let's all protect the nature and love the environment we live in, because building bigger buildings and building shopping malls, shopping centers will not make our life better and more luxurious. That's all I can say about this topic, because I know that most of the people will continue to destroy nature until the environment is totally depleted. However, I believe that little things all together can change everything, be safe...

OpenGL is a software package consisting of libraries which are callable from many computer languages to create 2D, 3D computer graphics applications. It is basically consisting of functions you can call when you write your programs and because you call these functions, you do not have to deal with every detailed geometric calculations, OpenGL does them for you, so what you have to deal with is just thinking your program's general features, structure, and flow. Thus, OpenGL creates a level of abstraction and makes your life easier.
With OpenGL, you can draw points, triangles, cubes, curves, surfaces etc. and you can manipulate these objects by pressing buttons, mouse clicks etc. Therefore, you can create animations with OpenGL. I met OpenGL like two weeks ago, so I am not an expert, but I can say that it really impressed me because of its usability, easiness etc. so in later times, I'll try to share some basic OpenGL programs created by myself. Counter Strike Global Offensive

I met Counter Strike games in 2002, and till then if I find free time, I try to play and enjoy them. First Counter Strike games were very enjoyable and I think very successful for its genre. However, I have a doubt to buy Counter Strike Global Offensive because I had a fear that this one will not be as much fun as former games but then I decided to go for it. After playing 2 weeks (I bought it 2 weeks ago from now), I can say that developers really did a great job. First of all, you can still feel playing the same old Counter Strike games, plus there are some new game types which are very enjoyable. For example, in my opinion, "Arms Race" game type is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in a game because it is super fast and fun to play and it teaches how to use different guns effectively. Also, "Demolition Mode" is one of the game types which includes bomb planting in small maps. That's why, you have to be fast and you have to know how to hide in these small maps. If you do not want to play these new types and just want to play classic style, you can find many community servers dedicated to classical gameplay of Counter Strike.
To sum up, if you grow in an internet cafe :) or if you really love FPS games, I'm sure you will find this game fun, take care and have fun... Steam Link

Sleepwalking is a movie released in 2008 which tells us about the story of a broken family consisting of a child, a mom and an uncle. Tara portrayed by AnnaSophia Robb, is one of the main characters who lives with her mom (Joleene), portrayed by Charlize Theron, and her mom's boyfriend until cops came and arrest him. After that, she and her mom had to move to Tara's uncle James, portrayed by Nick Stahl, who lives alone and keeps a quiet life till they came... If you want to spend your lazy sunday afternoon by just lying back and being alone in silence, you should watch this movie. Its story and its fluent mood will relax you. Furthermore, you will be amazed by soundtracks and acting performances, so I highly recommend you to give this movie a chance. IMDB

LEGO Batman The Video Game

LEGO Batman is the first LEGO video game I have ever played. I think it was 2010 when I first played with my sister. Yeah, that's true :) LEGO games can be played with two players on a same computer on a same keyboard. Actually, it is much more fun like this because LEGO games are designed in such a way that cooperation is essential, so both players do something and have fun together.
Anyway, I think LEGO Batman is one of the masterpiece of TT Games and after I played LEGO Batman 2, I can say that first one is better imao :) You may think that I'm a guy who does not like games following the first one but that is not true. I think Prehistoric 2 is better than the first one :)
If you want to play LEGO games, if you grow up by building LEGOs and if you love to smash things, this game is essential for you. I'm sure you'll be addicted to LEGO games after play this one. Have fun!

Hawaii

I heard Hawaii from documentaries when I was a kid, then my interest to it has increased after I watched Lilo & Stitch. As you know, Hawaii is a state of the USA and maybe the smallest one. It is located on the middle of the Pasific Ocean and it consists of lots of islands. Honolulu is the capital of Hawaii and there are lots of active volcanos which created that islands long time ago. If you do not know Hawaii and read this, do not be afraid or misunderstand the environment. Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places on the planet and there are so many touristic places. Heroes of Might and Magic Online

There was on ad on a website saying "The best MMO game of all time" then I saw that it is Heroes of Might & Magic :) I had known Heroes series before although I had not played too much. Everyone knows that Heroes series is one of the pioneers of its kind and it is really fun to play. How about online version of it? Will it be good, better? To answer of all these questions, I had to wait till October 3 2014, after a year I saw the ad, since the game was close beta at that day, so only a few selected players could play it, but now I can play it too, so I can share my experiences here:
First of all, if you are a heroes fan, you will absolutely love this game, same game, same graphics but online version, so you can share your journey with other players, talk, chat, laugh etc. :) Secondly, this game does not force you to sit front of computer and play all day. If your troops are gone, you are done for today. Third one is support team listens to you and immediately reply your questions. Although the game has still bugs in it, support team deals with it and tries to fix it in the first maintainance. Finally, if you are a non-coiner, you can enjoy the game by doing quests, chatting with your friends and helping other players. On the other hand, if you are a coiner, you can purchase powerful stuff and play to be the best, so both sides can enjoy the game from their perspective. Python Classes, Inheritance & Polymorphism

In my article on this blog called "Python", I have discussed some aspects of Python programming languages. I said that Python is great for novice programmers, it is easy to learn, it encourages clean coding and I still behind what I said before :) Later days, I improved my Python experience and designed a few basic classes, implemented inheritance and polymorphism in those classes. As a result, I saw that unlike C++, Python classes are so much easier to implement and design. You do not have deal with virtual keywords and you do not have to care about which data type you use, because as you know Python is dynamically typed language. Thus, if you deal with Python some day, you will notice that it is a great programming language and your mind will compare it with other programming languages without your will, thanks...
